NOTE: The menu option Administrators is only available to administrator-type user accounts. If you need something updated, please contact your company administrator.

 

The Accounting Period Lock option is to prevent users from entering payments with a date occurring before the specified date chosen on this screen. If a user attempts to enter a date occurring before the lock date they will receive the following error:

 

 

To set the lock date, type the date in m/dd/yy or choose the date by clicking on the calendar icon then click on Set New Lock Date. When updating the lock date simply repeat this step. If you would like to remove the lock date click on Remove Lock Date.

Administrators can choose which user groups can bypass this lock date by going to Settings > Administrators > Manage User Groups. Click on the sprocket icon next to the user group and then check the box next to .
