Filters are primarily used for the searching for accounts, but can also be used for various Settings pages or Tools in Simplicity. Their function is to help refine the results for that particular job.

You choose a filter that applies to the set of accounts you want to view/affect. All results that do not apply to the specified filter will not appear in the list of accounts.  Filters can be combined in order to get more specific results.

The picture below is taken from the Quick Search filters page, but will be almost identical on any other screen that uses them.

Extra options (seen at the top of the image above) that work in conjunction with the filters:

  • Configuration Filters – Configurations are a saved preset of one or more of the below filters that have been grouped together into a “common” filter for use by Collectors. You can read more about Configurations on this page.
  • Worklists – Worklists are one way that users can manage their day to day work. Unlike a search results list, a Worklist helps organize specific accounts into one easy to access list, lets you preview stats about that list, and makes switching to your next account as easy as the click of a button. You can read more about Worklists on this page.
