How to Edit a Mapping

If an import is not 100% successful we recommend checking the mappings. First, ensure to select the correct importer tool (for example, Tools > File Importing > Account Importer if importing new accounts).

  1. Choose file from your computer and click Prepare File for Uploading.
  2. Select the name of the mapping from the drop down box in step 2 and then click Edit File Map.
  3. Edit the file mapping as needed:
    1. To add additional mappings click on the column header name from the right column and match it to the Simplicity field in the middle column then click Add >>  to move these elements to the column on the right.
    2. To delete a mapping from the column on the right, click on << Remove.
    3. Review checkbox and radio selections to ensure they are correct.
  4. Click Update Mapping
  5. Click Import Accounts

How to Delete a Mapping

  1. Choose a file from your computer and click Prepare File for Uploading.
  2. Select the name of the mapping from the drop down box in step 2 and then click Edit File Map.
  3. Click Delete Mapping (located under the check boxes and radio selections).
