Are there any hidden fees in your software?
All costs are associated with the one-time license fee charged up front and recurring monthly maintenance fees. Additionally, fees for integration with some of our affiliate partners (such as merchant accounts, dialers, credit bureau reporting, letter fullfillment, etc) may apply. If a client’s data needs cause undue burden on Simplicity servers, Simplicity will contact that client to arrange dedicated hosting prices. With our hundreds of current clients, we have not had to employ this option yet.
Are the monthly fees mandatory?
These fees are mandatory and will be charged automatically on the credit card provided at the start of the service.
What is the difference between your lease and license options?
The license option allows you the flexibility of moving the software to your own servers. If for some reason we go out of business (which we never plan on doing), the licensed version entitles you to a licensed copy of the software to continue to use. Additionally the licensed version allows phone support.
Will your price ever go up or can you lock me into the current price?
Prices are subject to change as server costs, hosting, and support costs escalate. We pride ourselves in providing a cost effective solution for collecting and will strive to keep things affordable for our clients.
How long do I have to pay the lease of software maintenance fees?
As long as you use the software. The fees are required and cover maintenance, upgrades, support, and hosting of the software.
What does the monthly charge cover?
The monthly fees are charged for hosting, maintenance, server and software upgrades, SimplicityCollect version upgrades, and customer support.
Do I have to pay for new upgrades to the software?
Version upgrades are of no additional cost, and are covered by the monthly fee.
Can I upgrade from Pro to Enterprise?
Absolutely! We will also apply the license fee that you paid for your Pro license toward the purchase of the Enterprise license.
